About me:
Hi there! My name is Maddy McCathern and I started up Providence Farms LLC. My passion for horses started when I was younger and has only grown since having my own. After months of planning, working hard, and saving up, I bought my first horse in 2022. From there I was determined to grow my knowledge of handling horses, riding, and competing. I graduated with a High School diploma in May 2024 and worked several jobs post-high school months. I own three horses currently, Cash, Halo, and Ruby! I have competed in barrel racing, pole bending, roping, western pleasure, and western horsemanship. I currently work as a full time business owner, photographer and owner of Providence Media , a weekday preschool teacher, and babysitter. When I'm not working I'm practicing, at church, spending time with family, or rodeoing. I love what I do and hope to share my resources to bring smiles to peoples faces!
What we do:
All lessons offered are PRIVATE beginner lessons. Our goal with one on one attention is to ensure safety and provide a focused learning experience. We want your child to gain as much knowledge while enjoying a time of undivided attention.
For all our "non-farm" related services (photography sessions, crochet classes, equine sensory experiences, and photography classes) our goal is to make the most out of each student's desire to learn. I will be using a caring approach to teaching these hands on skills in a way that's easy to understand for all ages. Our goal is to create an environment of love, care, learning, hands on, and ease for every student.
